Furthermore, it is noted that the British Embassy, Cairo, has been informed prior to discovery having been served, thereby complying with the Hague Evidence Convention of 1970. The embassy may now act on behalf, and in service of, the case in question. Punitive damages have been set as 200,000,000 USD. However, the judge may make a higher and unlimited award following a ruling.
